Pittwater 2016 Subjunior Gala Day on 21st August

Hi again Pittwater Age Managers, Team Coaches and Managers for the Under 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, W8s, & W9s teams

 

Countdown is on with only FIVE weeks to go.

 

The Annual Subjunior Gala Day is on again on Sunday 21st August 2016 so please make a commitment in your diaries and tall to your teams re participation on the day.

There is a backup day for Sunday 28th August 2016 in case of rain on the 21st August.

 

We are organising the event and intend to make it as enjoyable, if not better, than last year. 

Jumping castles, BBQ, food, soccer games, sponsorships and giveaway prizes, Age group March past, face painting, popcorn and end of Season Trophy presentation, all on the one day.

 

The March Past is where each team makes a March Past banner and will be part of the age group March Past at the beginning of the Gala day. Teams should start getting together their banner ready for the day.  Prizes will be given on the day for the best banners.

 

This year, as well as the U6s, U7s, U8s & U9s, we are also bringing the W-8s and W-9s into the Gala day.

For the W8 & W9s, you have games on in the morning on the day so I will be making sure your Gala attendance is in the afternoon and with a reduced game schedule since you will have played already. 

 

The Day is a team day, a family day and an end of season celebration day for all so we invite you to arrive as a team, set a picnic area for your team among other teams, set your banner and make a picnic day of it for the families and the teams as part of the end of season celebrations.

 

The Gala committee is meeting together now to put in place all the plans for the day so I am happy to take this opportunity for any suggestions or comments some of the managers may have from the past years Gala day experiences.

When you can, please confirm back to me your team’s attendance and number of kids on the day so that I can make provision in the scheduling of games and other activities for every team.
