Consumption of Alcohol
In response to requests from the MWFRA regarding the consumption of alcohol in the vicinity of the technical areas, the MWFA EC requests that Clubs teams observe and that team officials and committee members voluntarily enforce an alcohol free zone around the technical area.

This applies to Senior teams of all grades AL, O35, O45, WAL, WO35 not just PL, WPL, AL1 and WAL1.

The storage and consumption of alcohol should be well away from the technical area. Preferably supporters and players from the same Club team store and consume alcohol in an area of the sideline on the same end of the field as their team technical area and reasonably separated from the technical area.

In particular alcohol should not be stored or consumed:

1. in the technical area.

2. between the two technical areas.

3. directly behind the technical areas.

This does not change any existing alcohol free zone requirements such as the ban on consumption of alcohol in school grounds (such as Narrabeen Sports High).
